DEPOSIT
The deposit to hold a puppy is half the puppy price. Deposits are
non-refundable and can be paid through PayPal, Western Union, or
Walmart MoneyGram.
When you are certain that a puppy is right for you and your
household please call or email me to confirm that puppy is still
available. I will send you an invoice for the deposit through my
PayPal account or we will make arrangements for you to wire the
money through Western Union or Walmart MoneyGram. Even if
you do not have a PayPal account you can still pay the PayPal
invoice with a credit card or Visa/MasterCard debit card.
Please do not ask me to hold a puppy without a deposit.
SHIPPING
Puppies fly out of the Tallahassee, FL on Delta Airlines. The total
cost of shipping (crate, health certificate, gas reimbursement, and
airfare) is approximately $280. I will make the reservations and
advise you when and where to pick up your new puppy. I
generally collect only for the crate, health certificate, and gas
reimbursement which totals $75. When you pick your puppy up
you will pay Delta directly for the airfare which is usually $205
including insurance. (Note - crate cost and airfare is higher for
puppies over 4 lbs. I'll be glad to get you a quote before placing
your deposit)
In order to relieve the stress of travel day, your puppy will spend
some time in their travel crate the day before they are scheduled
to leave. I'll set up their crate with a blanket and toy that have the
scents of their littermates and place the crate inside their normal
pen so the sights, sounds, and smells are familiar. They also have
food, snacks, and chews to keep them busy. Then I'll open the
crate door for all the puppies to explore. They usually pile in and
sleep there for the night.
Whenever possible I will drive to meet you. While I do not mind
donating my time, I've had to start asking for gas reimbursement.
The farthest I can go is 4 hours out from Meigs, GA.
In GA, Macon or Columbus is $75, Valdosta or Cordele is $50
In FL, Tallahassee is $50, Gainesville is $100
In AL, Dothan is $75, Phoenix City is $75 (Rev. 7/24/2011)
